ReplyDeleteNice, I only have California poppies in my garden but poppies of any type are a lovely flower.
ReplyDeleteOh my I love poppies. They are pretty and different they look like Japanese paper very dainty. Great shot!

Love the poppy! I'll have to plat some for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is beautiful. You're way ahead of us. I'm still waiting for mine to open.
ReplyDeleteWho can ignore a bright red poppy?
ReplyDeleteCOLOR DILEMMA
Yellow or red—which shall it be?
Red for you and yellow for me?
Perhaps you’d rather have yellow instead—
Which leaves me, of course, with handfuls of red!
Whichever hue you decide to choose,
I’ll take the other—no one will lose!

I believe this is the closest I've come to the inside of a poppy ever. I tried to grow them once but had no luck. I think it was a case of wrong plant wrong place. it's a splendid photo.
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photograph!
