This later sighting of the Harvest Moon over NYC (on Saturday, September 29) was disappointing as fast moving cloud conspired to spoil the view. Sunday's earlier showing was a perfect orange color until about 8 pm. Shot from the roof top vantage point of a 12 storey building, next door (to the right) to the much protested '23 storey' NYU Dorm building! (Deemed too tall for our neighborhood).
PHOTOS, SOUND-BITES WITH INFORMED BACK-UP. SCROLL DOWN FOR MY PROFILE...I don't make a photograph just with a camera. I bring to the act of photography all the pictures I have seen, all the books I have read, all the music I have heard, and all the people I have known.

Not much moon, but those clouds are great. I feel I could touch them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on mine.
But what an interesting black and white picture it made.
