SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY 2: COSMOS ON THE SIDEWALK IN OCTOBER IN NYC!





As the strong Fall sun casts great shadows in the background, this Cosmos planting on the sidewalk, next to a sign post, taller than myself, danced in the wind as I walked by.   October in NY is proving to be a wonderful relief from the hot and humid summer we have had.

    The depth of field and contrast between dainty flower and urban building is great.

  4. I like the contrasts in this shot.....the hard lines of the bricks contrasted with the curvaceous flowers, and the brownish red contrasted with the delicate pink.
