Recalling Septimus's dreamy interpretation of skywriting in Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf!
(In the novel, Septimus is a shell-shocked veteran and sees the world differently. The skywriting that everyone else in London sees he sees as a signal to himself, whereas it is actually an advertisement for toffee).
Interesting angles and views of the sky. Cool photos. Happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteWow...very interesting angle!
ReplyDeleteA different and interesting sky watch showing.
ReplyDeletePuffs rather than streaks! Unusual. But I can't get the message and you must have got a stiff neck! We could do with some of your blue; this is the wettest July for 60 years!
ReplyDeleteIs that really skywriting? Amazing!
ReplyDeleteSKY SONG
Glowing moon and shining stars,
Venus, Jupiter and Mars,
Planets swirling round the sun;
Darkness falls when day is done.
In the vast and endless sky
Eagle, wren and falcon fly;
Over hill and dale they roam,
Calling cloud and thunder home.

Soaring to the Clouds
Beautiful, I really like the deep blue sky and the texture of the building.
ReplyDeleteVery bright blue skies...wish I could read the message.... Does it say "Will you marry me?" HaHaHa
