Hi Margaret. You are the mistress of high contrast (LOL) and this photo is a fine example.
ReplyDeleteI love the crumpled effect as though the flower has just opened. And the black starburst in the middle. Pity it's 'gone tomorrow'!
ReplyDeleteI have one of these hibiscus so can really relate to the here today and gone tomorrow. It upset me so when I first got the plant. I fretted and fretted until I learned that was the way the plant behaved. Mine is pinkish orange and is so beautiful. I had not thought of it in black and white, but now I will have to give it a try. Your capture is awesome...love the detail. Genie
ReplyDeleteThe finer details are so much more noticeable in black and white.
ReplyDeleteNice photo and black and white choice make it nicer.
ReplyDeleteRegards!
So very delicate, and what a wonderful pattern!
