Whether one is one of those or not now,  a stand of skeins of lambs wool seen at the local
Green Market is hard to pass-by without the recall of distant memories!   WW2 was a time of
scarcity when it came to finding wools to knit a fair-isle pullover.  The palate of colors here was
breathtaking, as well as the cost of each skein - at $19 each!

 As the sun moves west, the light momentarily catches skyline landmarks in the east, revealing a complex of domes on the New York side of the river that I had not noticed before.

Food put out for the homeless cats soon disappears as this raccoon is seen scooping it up into its mouth with its two front paws!  It arrived as I was shooting Missy's reflection!
