SKYWATCH FRIDAY - RAIN CLOUDS OVER BETHPAGE STATE PARK, LONG ISLAND

Behind those trees, looking up from backyards, is BETHPAGE STATE PARK GOLF COURSE,  known as the 18-HOLE 'BLACK' COURSE*, in Farmingdale, NY, site of the 2002 and 2009 US OPEN

*Note:  A Tillinghast designed course with bunkers in triple digit numbers, 7,386 yards, 144 slope rated.   A VERY difficult course to play - hence, the Black Course!

  1. Interesting clouds enhanced by the tree branches and the lovely wedgewood blue shade of the sky. Lovely serene pictures. xx

  2. Your rain clouds are a lot prettier - and fluffier - than ours are. Hope you don't get too wet.

  5. Did you get rain from these clouds? They don't look quite nasty enough :-)
