I have been waiting for weeks for this magnolia to bloom, then I missed its first burst.
The shadow behind it was a plus today!

  1. And what an intoxicating fragrance fills the air...simply stunning!

  2. The blossoms certainly out-do the shadow, 'putting it in the shade' as it were!

  4. The flowers are a fine bit of urban flora. The tree wraps in and around the iron fence, creating a beautiful scene unique to a city alone - we are not in the country, nature also blooms in NYC!

  5. Beautiful! They really are a lovely flower.
I wait for a pink one over by me, to bloom every year.

  8. They are worth the wait aren't they? That is a great shot and I adore your new header. It looks like spring is arriving all over.

I have been online very little in the past two weeks, just do a post and run. Hopefully I'm back for awhile.
