SKYWATCH FRIDAY - REFLECTIONS OF TONIGHT'S SUNSET

Since my windows look to the East, I can only see the sunset in the windows facing West.

  4. You get to enjoy the sunset second hand, on the opposite buildings windows. Very special.

  5. I have a similar problem..... facing east. But I have nothing reflective facing west either. So I envy you your possibilities. Great shots.

  6. Well, I guess you get to enjoy the sunrise first hand, so not so bad. It's the way it is in the city and those reflected sunsets are special too!

  7. The sunset seems to turn the bricks red in that last photo, it makes perfect frames for the amazing colors reflected on the windows.

  8. Good thing those windows are there for you to enjoy the sunset!

I prefer these windows with the brickwork rather than all glass buildings. The bricks change colour as the light hits them as well as the windows looking like they are on fire.

word verification is boohoo - I don't think so!

  9. Look westward, my child—
    the windows hung with sunset
    will soon blink, nod, sleep.

  12. Remarkable shots! Which would you prefer - sunrise, with the promise of the day to come, or sunset, the dying of the day? I'm greedy and like to see both :-)
