THIS WAS A ONE-OF-KIND FIND, YESTERDAY, IN ONE OF THE MANY SIDE WALK GARDENS CULTIVATED BY NYC RESIDENTS WHO ARE LUCKY TO HAVE TREES ON THEIR STREETS.
PHOTOS, SOUND-BITES WITH INFORMED BACK-UP. SCROLL DOWN FOR MY PROFILE...I don't make a photograph just with a camera. I bring to the act of photography all the pictures I have seen, all the books I have read, all the music I have heard, and all the people I have known.

The shadows look like a spider web tucked inside the mandala flower.
ReplyDeleteOMG! As I was looking at your shot I was thinking: "This looks like a spider web witha colorful spider in the center." Low and behold Colleen said the same thing. Super shot. genie
ReplyDeleteAngel's Trumpet (Datura)? Pretty to look at but somewhat dangerous. Jimson weed is in the same family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot!
