SKY WATCH FRIDAY - OCCUPY WALL STREETERS ARE LOOKING FOR WINTER RESIDENCES....

It is said that they have received enough donations to help them through this winter, much to the frustration of certain officials who would like to see them gone!

(Go here for New York Times Op Ed Columnist Paul Krugman's take on press reports that OWS is responsible for violent protesting in some places).

And in Atlanta the excuse for police intervention is that it is to protect the protesters....

  2. Beautiful shot!

My son and daughter-in-law were in NYC last weekend and were impressed by the peacefulness of the protest but found it difficult to differentiate between the various groups. They did note the sharpened contrast between the haves and the have-nots.
The tented protest outside St Paul's, which is NOT the Stock Exchange, in London, is something of a damp squib - the tents, bar one, are empty at night as the protesters go home - or elsewhere.
Don't just blame the bankers - look at big business throughout the world.

  3. I think this is one of your best-ever shots. I love the gradation of colour from light to dark, combined with the reflection and the positioning against the sky. All very pleasing.
