RUBY TUESDAY - WHERE HAVE ALL THE ARTISTS GONE?

SURRENDER THE BOOTY AND SPEND,  SPEND,  SPEND...

There's no other choice really.   Create cash flow again to bring back
jobs.   NYC's Mayor has just closed the door to those at one level who will not
be covered by The President's call today to extend unemployment
insurance benefits.  Why don't the politicians get it, whatever one did for a living?

  1. At last I get a picture of the artists' area! Just when they've been forced to leave it too. I'm sorry you feel so downcast about it. Let's hope another venue is found soon. We're both a bit political today! My theme is Climate Change, though.

  5. The politicians do get it. They understand exactly where the money comes from that gets them elected.

  6. I am sad that I have to agree with Al's comment above, about the politicians. I mention money in Rinkly Rimes post comment, and it needs to be mentioned here as well.
I wrote the mayor's office about this issue. The form letter response about my concerns was the pat answer. City Hall has no plans to change a thing because the people writing don't fund their campaigns.
Free country? Not really when you think about it.
political rhetoric aside, I love pirates and actually think I was a pirate in a former life. Surrender the booty indeed! Aye Matey, avast ye!

    Peace.

  7. Sad day indeed! Your header says it all - and now some of the light and life of NYC has been put out.
