  2. I do love day lilies, and even more since I found two as memorial plants for two of my beloved dogs. I have a Crimson Pirate (for my little Jack Sparrow) which is a gorgeous dark burgundy streaked with yellow - elegant narrow petals, like your golden beauty. And I have a Renie's Delight (for my lovely Renie). It's much more ornate, with huge ruffled petals, in a salmony pink, with lilac streaks. Well. She was my Princess!

Yours is such a sunny, golden yellow! It's amazing what variety these plants grown in, isn't it?

  3. Day lilies are neat flowers. My wife had quite a few in several different colors a couple years back. Now that flower bed is hidden behind a tree.

  4. My first thoughts follow Jay's in that I was thinking it surely is a sunshiny yellow.
    Beautiful!
I have a granddaughter named Lily so they are one of my favorite flowers.
