MOTION THURSDAY - THE HIGH-WIRE ACT and a protest

  OOPSY DAISY!








        Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the Nassau Veterans Memorial  Coliseum, Long Island, early 2009


    YIKES.....but, all is well.    Their antics were more scary and funny than the sad display of tyrannized lions!   






Surely it is time to retire these beautiful cats and employ people who can make us laugh?

    I particularly like the first shot in which I can almost feel the high-wire artist tottering!

    So sad to see that some circuses in the world still have wild animal acts. They're a no-no here.
