SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY- GRACE'S RESTORATIONS

GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH  undergoing restorations as shown in previous post

Above, the gothic drinking fountain on the corner of the property, 10th and Broadway, needs fixing!  Wouldn't that be an unusual treat for passers by....

  2. Wonderful old building, too bad the elements are destroying it, like so many others.

  7. I'm glad that it's being restored. The city I live in has a terrible habit of just knocking old buildings down :(

Oh and both great shadowy shots!

  9. Dear Margaret, I have a connection to the Grace Episcopal Church. My mother's family was brought up in their early days, on 9th Street. Their parents, Italian immigrants were working in the garment district of NYC. Their children, including my mother, were in day care in Grace Chapel. I have a silver oval pin from the church which was given to my aunt because she was in the Italian Choir there, dated 1915-1925.
