at a cost of $97 million, according to C.J. Hughes writing for the NY Times...www.nytimes.com 2013.03.27

Dream on Fumihiko Maki, designer of 51 Astor Place, NYC - a development, still a work in progress, opposite the school of architecture Cooper Union, NYC   (Architect Edward J. Minskoff)
The final touch will be the installation of Jeff Koon's red rabbit.  I don't know whether to laugh or cry.....

  1. Interesting shadows and reflections on the high rise. Looks like a neighboring building's shadow blocked out part of the clouds' reflection -- makes one think about the image. And, B & W adds to the crispness and tension. Well composed and shot!

  2. I love this shot. Great reflection and you captured the building at an interesting angle.

  3. For a moment I thought the clouds in the reflection were really floating by the windows and was wondering what it would be like to work so high up this could happen!
