Seen from Farmingdale, Long Island, near Bethpage Park, NY

Following Monday's late afternoon thunder storm, two rainbows - an event I have
never seen before!     (Photo by daughter Sarah Cardullo)  The ruby-red tree is for Ruby!

  1. The threat posed by thunderstorms are myriad, and I am certainly not a fan of lightning. Yet, the beautiful upside after the storm are what we see here - not one but two rainbows! We saw a double rainbow only once in CT, 10+ years ago. It was an amazing sight - thunder is not beautiful but wait a few short minutes for this!

  3. The double rainbow is pretty. And as for my watermark [what you call signature] on my images it's placed, depending on the particular photo. Most agree 'cause I asked on my blog about it in a previous post...that my watermark isn't something that they feel should be commented on 'cause they appreciate the idea of watermarking images. Sorry you have to mention it instead of just viewing the picture and looking beyond the copyright mark.
