SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY - THE GINKGO TREE, A SPECTACULAR AUTUMNAL SHOW IN THE SHADE, ON 12th Street

Belatedly, I am showing a Shadow Shot - does anyone else get so caught up in a novel that an important meme date almost gets forgotten...

I have discovered the novels of Laurie R. King, in particular her Mary Russell
series, in which the aging Sherlock Holmes seems to have been born again into the 20th century!

  1. Better late than never! I didn't manage a shadow shot at all this week. Too busy trying to win a competition....... and failing! Lots of sack-cloth and ashes! I'll keep your novelist in mind for next year'sw Book Club list!
    Enjoy!

  2. Yes I also all too easily get caught up reading a fave book and forget things! Often I read late at night and forget to sleep!

Love your photos and will check out your short film in the post below. Have a great week :)

  3. Margaret, your Ginko tree is magnificent. These slow growing trees are my favorite late-turning deciduous trees. That bright gold can be spotted from a far distance... a regal tree for sure!
