RUBY TUESDAY - BIRD'S EYE VIEW...

The mystery bird in the header was still there when I left....

Looking at other photos I took that day, I see it is still there!

(When I see other photographers in the street, I do wonder what they are shooting, as the birds must wonder, too!  Are they also concocting a story for Ruby Tuesday?)

  4. I'm thinking the bird might be a hawk of some kind. :) They have great eyesight and know very well what you are up to. :)

  6. To me it looks like a small hawk, the Coopers Hawk. or the Sharp-Shinned Hawk. Check out this site:http://www.birds.cornell.edu/pfw/AboutBirdsandFeeding/accipiterIDtable.htm there's a photo that matches your bird. It looks like the sharp-shinned Hawk. I had one in my yard for the past two years. They love to eat other birds that flock to birdfeeders. Sorry, but that is Nature. They are elegant birds.
