I like to travel via the Williamsburg Bridge, exit 48, and get on the notorious Rte 495 (Long Island Expressway) to Farmingdale, exiting at Rte 110. On a good day the drive from Manhattan takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

It'll take a lot longer than that if you keep stopping to take such fabulous photographs! I love this technique..... like looking a the world through one of those distorting mirrors!
