RUBY TUESDAY - I FOUND RED CANNA LILIES TODAY IN TIME TO POST FOR

RUBY TUESDAY -  looking very fresh and 'proud' as the summer flowers begin to fade - Canna Lillies are not considered a true lily

In one of two NYC Public Parks on 17th Street and 3rd Avenue, where street artists are unwelcome!

To quote Mary's choice of quote:  'A poet's work is to name the unnamable, to point out frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world, and stop it going to sleep'   Salman Rushdie

This is Sakineh Ashtiani  -  who would have been stoned for adultery had not AVAAZ raised international attention - now, possibly, hanging for allegedly murdering her husband ..

  1. The water adds a further dimension and adds movement to a very rigid flower. But where was the poem? Your description sounded very much like one.
