  1. I have quite a few couples in my yard and love their cooing sounds. The feathers are so soft looking near the tip.

  4. What a beautiful feather, lying on the ideal complementary surface. I suppose it's the black patch that puts the poor little bird in mourning.

  5. That's a very pretty, softly-coloured dove. Feathers are beautifully designed, delicate and strong. I prefer the coloured version of your feather to the monochrome, though both show the details perfectly.

  10. It's a lovely feather. We have doves in our yard but I don't believe I have ever found a feather. I really need to pay more attention!
