RUBY TUESDAY - DIABETES DAY IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA, but here in NEW YORK CITY...... ...

... it is Diabetes Day every Day!   Whether you are donating or browsing, the experience is akin to the treasure hunt feeling:  giving and getting is so much fun at these thrift stores that appeal to collectors of quirky junk and artful wall pieces.   The red umbrella prompted me to do this for Ruby Tuesday!

Down stairs there is a fantastic clothes selection for any occasion.

This C U R E THRIFT SHOP is at 111 East 12th Street, NY, 10003, if you are in the neighborhood.

  1. Glorious! Diabetes doesn't seem such a big deal - until you've got it.

  3. Great on several counts! It supports a worthy cause. It shows off some lovely Japanese umbrellas. And you've celebrated RED. Three gold stars!
