SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY- BEFORE THE BIRDS THERE WERE DINOSAURS!

       The hi fives?

                    Enlarge all

"No Kidding!" (say, the five year olds!).    ANYWAY, WHEN THE DUST SETTLED, NATURE CREATED THE BIRDS, INHERITING DINOSAUR
CHARACTERISTICS ON A MUCH SMALLER SCALE - long story, of course.  Happy Birding!

  5. Too much to cope with at 6.00 a.m.! But at least I'm awake enough to appreciate the initial shadow shot, which is perfect.

  8. Great shadows - love that first one too. just the sort of place to take a 5 year old. We are doing a big birdwatch for the RSPB toorrow. Wonder if we'll see any dinosaurs? xx

  9. I love the way the wire forms the shape of the creature whose nearly entire skeleton is missing, what cool displays!

  10. Lovely shadow of the dino as he attempts to climb the wall. The large reptiles were imposing, yet their frames were simply, and the skeletons artistic. I have got to get the wheelchair to NYC for these wonderful exhibitions!
