MACRO MONDAY - IMAGINE, A WHITE GARDEN AT STUYVESANT SQUARE PARK...

    IT IS A LARGE PUBLIC PARK IN DOWN TOWN NYC (TWO BLOCK-SIZED AREAS DIVIDED BY A STREET) -  EACH WITH A SIMPLE FOUNTAIN WITHIN A CIRCULAR POND.    THERE IS ENOUGH SPACE AND SHADE TO CREATE A YEAR-ROUND WHITE GARDEN IN ONE SPOT.   DREAM AWAY.....

BY OCTOBER THESE WHITE PERENNIALS MAY NOT BE SEEN AGAIN UNTIL NEXT AUGUST- SEPTEMBER - The third and fourth flowers seem to belong to Magnolia trees;
I haven't seen a Magnolia flower so late in the year - has anyone else?

  1. You brought back a memory for me. I lived in a cottage in the grounds of the Mayor's house in Bulawayo at one time. He and his wife had lost a son in a car accident and they had made a special part of their extensive garden into a white garden for him. It was very lovely.

  2. That must be a beautiful spot. I adore that third shot. It's gorgeous and I also like the water droplets. I have seen the magnolia this late in our botanical gardens. Thanks so much for sharing these, I really enjoyed this post.
