awarewriter suggested a tighter crop from the right to make a square, so here it is. "Square photos can be powerful" he said, in his comment.
They remind me of giant Guy Fawkes rockets, just about to go off! Is that snow?
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous black and white...either snow or heavy rain...it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great contrast of shape. And snowing too - brrr.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your very kind comment on mine.
That's a wonderful shot - looks perfect in B&W!
ReplyDeleteNice one Margaret. I'm seeing a tighter crop from the right to make a square. Square photos can be powerful. I see you have some snow too. More tonight and tomorrow and this will be the winter to remember (or forget) for record breaking snowfall in our region. South Jersey near Phila.
ReplyDeletethank you so much for my very own water tower - I love it!! Greetings from Mexico
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret - I actually prefer the original shot with the water towers right in the central focus of the shot - however the other you cropped from the Egyptian wing was really beautiful - I will be back in NY for a week in August and will experiment with some cropped and uncropped water towers -thanks for raising the debate - interesting
ReplyDeleteI like the new crop Margaret. The white building on the right was a distraction and the dark towers are more powerful on the edge instead of near the middle.
