On the way to MoMA, via the Lexington line (6) subway, exiting at the 51st stop, and taking a short walk to exit at 52nd-53rd streets (across the street from MoMA) leads to this massive waterfall sculpture - confrontation the first time is breathtaking!

I enjoy the way the water is shown in three guises.....falling, tumbling and churning. I think this is captured better in monochrome than it would have been in colour.
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth is MoMa?
Fantastic shot of the waterfall sculpture. I find it hard to capture rushing water and you did such a good job with this.
ReplyDeleteThis is so good in monochrome! I think a color version would lose the details of the moving water.
ReplyDeleteFantastic captured !

ReplyDeleteAwesome picture !!!
ReplyDeleteSpectacular!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great fountain! So much splashing! Love it in black and white!
ReplyDeleteWonderful water texture. This is great in B&W.
ReplyDeleteYou really get the sense of the running water in this one.
ReplyDeleteoh, i love this! :)
ReplyDeleteWow - that is awesome, Margaret! (On your comment at my site - I see where you see the reins being attached to the side of the building - the photo scene is much more obvious when enlarged. Tks for all your visits and comments - much appreciated.)
ReplyDeleteThe way you have captured the churning water is splendid. Your s/s is spot on. I would imagine the noise created by this waterfall would stop one in their tracks that alone the sheer beauty. Well captured!
