SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY - D0UBLE THE SHADOW!
The painting beneath the shadows is by fellow blogger and friend Mary Westring. Mary spotted the shadows and I took the photo with my G7 Canon, the lights above the lamp producing the double shadow effect with more definition than her camera, a Sony. Altogether, a joint effort!

Up early, or up late? Maybe you used the delayed posting feature of your blog provider. Just curious as I'm up early. I love the shot. The shadow of the light producing appliance, a lamp, cast onto the painting from another light source. The double image, one lighter and the other dark and sharp edged, very cool indeed.
ReplyDeletePeace.
Very 'cool', as the young say. I wonder if it was a lucky accident or whether it can be reproduced at any time. The painting of windows looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteNice catch those shadows !
ReplyDeleteI too like this effect, it certainly gives the painting more depth, from my vantage point at least...cool!
ReplyDeleteI like this image - very stylish :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful image of the dove's feather. The painting with the shadows enchanting too.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow. Looks great on the painting.
ReplyDeleteI think that is a remarkable photograph, the product of two creative sets of eyes seeing and recording. It is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful double shadow!
ReplyDeleteVery cool this effect, thanks and thanks for comments on my blog.
ReplyDeleteWhether the right is a translator in the blog ... So you can read along in English. Best regards from Germany Dani.
