I have been waiting for weeks for this magnolia to bloom, then I missed its first burst.

PHOTOS, SOUND-BITES WITH INFORMED BACK-UP. SCROLL DOWN FOR MY PROFILE...I don't make a photograph just with a camera. I bring to the act of photography all the pictures I have seen, all the books I have read, all the music I have heard, and all the people I have known.
And what an intoxicating fragrance fills the air...simply stunning!
ReplyDeletebeautiful magnolia, wonderful flowers
ReplyDeleteThe blossoms certainly out-do the shadow, 'putting it in the shade' as it were!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely blooms! Neat Shadow Shot.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are a fine bit of urban flora. The tree wraps in and around the iron fence, creating a beautiful scene unique to a city alone - we are not in the country, nature also blooms in NYC!
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteA beauty, worth the wait.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! They really are a lovely flower.
ReplyDeleteI wait for a pink one over by me, to bloom every year.
Gorgeous - I miss the magnolia that we had in our last garden!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, must mean spring is here!
ReplyDeleteThey are worth the wait aren't they? That is a great shot and I adore your new header. It looks like spring is arriving all over.
ReplyDeleteI have been online very little in the past two weeks, just do a post and run. Hopefully I'm back for awhile.
