MACRO MONDAY - IMAGINE, A WHITE GARDEN AT STUYVESANT SQUARE PARK...

    IT IS A LARGE PUBLIC PARK IN DOWN TOWN NYC (TWO BLOCK-SIZED AREAS DIVIDED BY A STREET) -  EACH WITH A SIMPLE FOUNTAIN WITHIN A CIRCULAR POND.    THERE IS ENOUGH SPACE AND SHADE TO CREATE A YEAR-ROUND WHITE GARDEN IN ONE SPOT.   DREAM AWAY.....

BY OCTOBER THESE WHITE PERENNIALS MAY NOT BE SEEN AGAIN UNTIL NEXT AUGUST- SEPTEMBER - The third and fourth flowers seem to belong to Magnolia trees; 

I haven't seen a Magnolia flower so late in the year - has anyone else?

    On the way to MoMA, via the Lexington line (6) subway, exiting at the 51st stop, and taking a short walk to exit at 52nd-53rd streets (across the street from MoMA) leads to this massive waterfall sculpture -  confrontation the first time is breathtaking!
