I had an almost identical shot prepared for SSS this week, but I put in another one instead. See my entries for 1/16 to see the likeness. It's called 'Illusion'. I must say your are more artistic. But they would be, wouldn't they!
ReplyDeleteNeat! Shadows and reflections both in these.
ReplyDeleteWho knew cooking utensils could make such fascinating shadows!! These are terrific, Margaret! Love the shadows and the reflections!!
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend has been good so far!
Sylvia
You have such a great eye! And a well equiped kitchen.
ReplyDeleteOur takeaway fish and chips aren't served in newspaper wrapping. They once were a very long time ago. I'm not sure why it was stopped. It's a pity as it was a nice way to recycle the papers...
I love that something we see and use everyday can be transformed into art. There are so many patterns to the shadows. And the golden light is perfect to compliment the scenes.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I call life in a kitchen...
ReplyDeleteFantastic, indeed! I never thought that utensils can capture such a nice shadows.
TY for sharing some ideas for next SS...
Happy SS!
Very nice shadow and reflection!:-)

ReplyDeleteReally wonderful genre shots.
I'm glad everyone admired them.
I once saw candles hidden under a colender
as a trendy decoration
or maybe they were hidden in a cheese grater
rather fun!
But really lovely.
What a cozy kitchen to collect those shadows! Beautiful!
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful textures and light! I Love this!
