Thursday AM - from the kitchen window
Very chilly today in NYC - like in the 40s!
VISIT SKYWATCH FRIDAY HERE and participate!
PHOTOS, SOUND-BITES WITH INFORMED BACK-UP. SCROLL DOWN FOR MY PROFILE...I don't make a photograph just with a camera. I bring to the act of photography all the pictures I have seen, all the books I have read, all the music I have heard, and all the people I have known.
Interesting skies.
ReplyDeleteLovely pastel skies, Margaret! Terrific captures! It's been cold here, too -- highs in the low 30s and into the teens at night, but we have had blue skies and sunshine. Not for long though, the rains return over the weekend!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! Stay warm!
Sylvia
I like how the sun is making the bricks glow, especially in the bottom shot.
ReplyDeleteIs that a new construct on the left with those things poking up? Your view will be changing then.
Beautiful shots as ever! My son and daughter-in-law are really missing the NYC skies they enjoyed for two years from their 25th floor apartment.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have such a vista from your kitchen window! All are lovely but this morning's sunrise is glorious! I’m participating twice this week:

Clear Southern California Skies
Hugs and blessings,
Just so golden - sublime shots of your morning sky. Cosy up. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skywatch photos. Happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteYes, very, very cold! Brrr!
Paz
Thanks for sending your URL since my Reading List has gone on the blink. Through you I can catch-up with others!
ReplyDeleteIs the straight-line shot the remains of a vapour-trail? If it's natural it's very unusual!
Pleasant weather here but next week we expect the 40s! (Going the other way and celcius!)
You have the most incredible view, it is perfect for sunrises. The first photo is filled with so much golden color, stunning.
ReplyDeleteLovely skies but they DO look cold!
