'LOTUS' by Seoul-based artist, Jaehyo Lee, has replaced Malcolm D. MacDonald's sculpture, 'MICROSCOPIC LANDSCAPE', located at the the parks south eastern triangle, and will be on view May through October, 2013.    It provides a great shadow to walk by and over!  Presented by NYC Parks & Recreation and Cynthia-Reeves Projects, in cooperation with the Union Square Partnership.

At the same time, protestors in the park continue their argument that "Marijuana is safer than alcohol, tylenol, tobacco, and prohibition", to legalise it ......
